Dr. Lee Braam DMD
Dr. Lee grew up in Wisconsin and has family ties right here in Chicago.
He is a graduate and a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee believes in the responsibility of educating and mentoring new dental providers, while staying informed with the latest supported evidence to guide his decisions in delivery of care.
Dr. Lee has been committed to strengthening his community through oral health. As a former member of a non-profit, human rights organization, he provided dental services to marginalized groups of Chicago for seven years. Going on to become the director for the program, Dr. Lee would accomplish expanding and improving dental services for the program to those populations served.
The powerful work that Dr. Lee completed shaped him to understand that individuals have so many factors in their lives that guide their decisions. His goal is to learn about the lives and values of every single patient he encounters to make the best decisions for their care.
Outside of dentistry, he loves spending time with his family. Pizza is always a regular on the menu at the Braam household. Whenever traveling, an activity involving animals is typically on the agenda.
Dr. Henry Hackney III DMD
Dr Hackney grew up in Wheeling, Illinois. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University for his undergraduate degree, receiving a bachelors in Biology. He completed his dental training at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
He has worked in various group practices over the past 6 years, mainly in rural areas for underserved populations. He is very passionate about the practice of dentistry.
Dr Hackney has been trained in various surgical procedures including 3rd molar extraction and implant placement, skills which he plans on bringing to the practice. He is eager to help patients in any way possible and greatly values patient comfort.
He enjoys connecting with his patients, and cultivating a positive and enjoyable environment.
His free time is spent with his wife and two girls, and well as enjoyable activities such golf, swimming, and travel.

Why did you decide to join the Dental Field:
I grew up in Poland, and as a child I was petrified of the dentist. You would think I would stay away from the dental field, but instead I decided to face my fear head on since 2001. I have enjoyed it ever since.
Hobbies and Interests: In my free time, I like to work out and take care of my family. I love to cook. I also love playing with my sweet dog, which brings me tons of joy.
What is something people don’t know about you? A lot of people think I’m a very serious person, but really, I’m a big goof. I love to joke around and dance.
What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago? One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago has to be RPM Italian.

Why did you decide to join the Dental Field: After high school, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, so I went to dental assisting school. I’m so glad that I chose this field because I love helping people. The best satisfaction to me is when a patient leaves the office happy (no matter what procedure they had done).
Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with family, friends and our two dogs, sports, fishing, being outdoors, anything involving animals, and traveling.
What is something people don’t know about you? I own a Hummer H2 and I’m in a car club with my husband.
What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago? My favorite restaurant Cooper’s Hawk (which is right outside of Chicago)

Why did you decide to join the dental field?: I enjoy being around people, hearing their stories and helping out the best that I can.
Hobbies and Interests: I am very interested in becoming a dental hygienist. My hobbies are traveling the world and swimming. I love playing toys and watching baby shark with my daughter.
